The Number Of Prayers in Islam.

In Islam, we have five prayers. Which are:

1. Fajr:

Fajr is only two rak'as, it's done just before the sun rises, and it's better to pray two rak'as of sunnah before it.

2. Zuhr:

Zuhr is four rak'as, it's done when the 

sun is in the middle of the sky (when objects have no shadows),

and it's of great reward to pray four rak'as of sunnah before it and two rak'as after it.

3. Asr:

Asr is four rak'as, it's done when the

shadow of an object is equal (in length)

to it, and there is no sunnah for this prayer.

4. Maghrib:

Maghrib is three rak'as,it's done when

the sun is completely beneath the horizon, and praying two rak'as of sunnah after it would be rewarding.

5. Isha'

Isha' is four rak'as, it's done when 

there is complete darkness and the

white twilight had disappeared, and two rak'as of sunnah are prayed after it.

What Should Be Done In Preparation For Salaah

WHAT SHOULD BE DONE IN PREPARATION FOR SALAAH?

At least four things should be done before salaah.

The first thing is:

Ablution ( wudoo') -- It's better to be done even before going to the masjid.

The second thing is:

Before going out of the house ( heading towards the masjid ), you should make sure that you wear your best clothes, and you shouldn't have a bad smell.

The third thing is:

When you go out of the house heading towards the masjid, you should walk with calmness, not running towads the masjid, so when you get to pray, you can be concentrating and having Khushoo'.

The fourth thing is:

When you go to the masjid, you can pray sunnah ( 2 rakaa's)

How to Pray in Islam?

1. Face the Qiblah (towards Mecca) and make sure you are in a clean place.

2. While you are standing, raise your hands near your

 ears ,say Allahu Akbar,and then lower your hands.

3. Put your hands between your bellybutton and your

chest putting the right hand above the left hand and

start reciting surat "al-fateha", say ameen after you finish, and then recite any other surah.

4. After that, raise your hands near your ears and say Allahu Akbar. Bow with your head facing the ground and your hand on your knees reciting "Subhana rabbiyal adheem" three times. This position is called "ruku" 

5.Stand again saying "Sami’a Allahu liman hamidah, Rabbana wa lakal hamd"

6.Raise your hand near you ears and say Allahu

Akbar,then descend to the ground.While your

 head and nose are on the ground recite "Subhana

 Rabbiyal A'ala" three times.

7. Rise to a sitting position putting your hands on your knees and saying Allahu Akbar. Then, while sitting, say "rabbe ghferly" three times.

8.Then prostrate back on the ground saying Allahu

 Akbar then say while facing the ground "Subhana Rabbiyal A'ala" three times.

9. Rise to the same sitting position saying Allahu

Akbar but this time saying: "Atta-hiyyatu lillahi was-salawatu wat-tayyibatu As-salamu 'ala an-Nabiyy wa rahmat-ullahi wa barakatuhu As-salamu 'alaina wa 'alaa 'Ibaadillah-is-salihin. Ash-hadu-al-la-ilaha illAllahu wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasuluh, Allahumma salli ala Muhammad wa ala aali Muhammad kama salaita ala Ibraheem, wa barik ala Muhammad wa ala aali Muhammad kama barakta ala Ibraheem wa ala aali Ibraheem fel ‘alameena innaka hameedun majeed". Then turn your head to the right and say "assalamu alaykum warahmatu llah",then  

turn your head to the left and say again "assalamu alaykum warahmatu llah".

Congratulations! Now you have learned how to make salah.
